SOLO CHOREOGRAPHY
This is a photo from my artists journal from 24th November 2011. As part of my choreography module in term 1, we were given the task of comprising a solo using a multilayering score and a basis for improvised movement. The instruction for our score was as follows:
1. Choose two body parts (i chose feet and elbows)
2. Choose a quality (i chose articulate)
3. Choose a spacial instruction (i chose levels)
4. Choose a time structure (i chose repetition)
The image above shows my score drawn out in a simple format, alongside what i found challenging and interesting about the task. Exploring new ideas was something that i particularly enjoyed, because it was something i hadnt done much of before. What i found challenging was continuosly moving without repeating myself. Overall it was an elightening experience :)
